It Began with Nigel
Opened in 2015, Nigel came up with the name with 4 other friends over a heavily rum induced liming session. Plyboard became la plywood. Beach Bar Cafe was added so as to incorporate BBC the name of the beach (other famous incorporations were considered 😉 ).
Started simple doing grilled fish over a grill with salad. Nigel was a one man show doing all food and basic drinks.
He came up with the now famous most popular dish the fish taco 2016 added fish sandwich and was named one of Caribbean Journal's (2018) 11 best beach bars to visit a few years later.
